When we were asked to contribute an editorial to this month's Bulletin of the World Health Organization, we jumped at the opportunity.
The Bulletin is one of the world’s leading public health journals. The peer-reviewed monthly maintains an open-access policy so that the full contents of the journal and its archives are available online free of charge.
And we are in esteemed company. This month's articles cover important issues such as "Poverty and human development" to "Huge poor–rich inequalities in maternity care: an international comparative study of maternity and child care in developing countries," and many more.
Please check out our editorial "Opening the data to the world: why health numbers matter" and let us know what you think.
