When I think of pirates, I think of Captain Jack Sparrow swaggering onto a ship to find hidden treasure, outsmart Davy Jones, and battle with the Kraken. Disney characters aside, piracy has become an increasingly difficult foreign policy challenge. Last weekend, US Navy Commandos opened fire, killing three pirates as they rescued a hostage captain.
